1. Selection of Electronic Lock
The type of electronic lock based on principle of operation can be divided into: Magnet Series, Electric Strike Series and Electric Bolt Series, these electronic locks can be suitable for different types of wooden doors , glass doors , metal doors and automatic doors. There are different of security, functionality and reliability between each lock, please select suitable electronic lock according to the demands.
2. Electric Bolt Lock
Any type of doors can be installed directly use, embedded of the installation will not disrupt the overall beauty of the door frame, and for 180 degrees inside and outside the open door of the characteristics of the electric bolt series that the most commonly used locks. For example: ATM cash dispenser before the entrance into the area of credit card needed, are used to match the electric bolt series. Electric bolt series its security concerns are generally designed to fail-safe type, that is the general condition of the lock power and the need to continue "locked" state, interrupt the power of lock via external control system, the state of the lock is "open", mainly in order to ensure the safety of emergency.
Fail-safe:
Also called fail-open. In this configuration, applying electric current to the strike will cause it to lock. In this configuration, it operates the same as a magnetic lock would. If there is a power failure, the door would open merely by being pushed/pulled open. Fail safe units are always run using DC power.
Fail-secure:
Also called fail-locked or non-fail safe. In this configuration, applying electric current to the strike will cause it to open. In this configuration, the strike would remain locked in a power failure, but typically the knob can still be used to open the door from the inside for egress from the secure side. These units can be powered by AC which will cause the unit to "buzz", or DC power which will offer silent operation, except for a "click" while the unit releases.

2-3 Electric Bolt Lock Bracket Selection Guide
Electric Bolt structure and mechanism is suitable for indoor installation such as public space (fail safe type AR- 1207A), regulatory space (fail secure type AR-1207B), and automatic slide door. When the door frame and door itself does not have enough space or does not fit in, bracket accessories are usually needed to support the installation. 3. Electronic Magnetic Lock
A magnetic lock is a simple locking device that consists of an electromagnet and armature plate. By attaching the electromagnet to the door frame and the armature plate to the door, a current passing through the electromagnet attracts the armature plate holding the door shut. Unlike an electric strike a magnetic lock has no interconnecting parts and is therefore not suitable for high security applications because it is possible to bypass the lock by disrupting the power supply. Nevertheless, the strength of today's magnetic locks compares well with that of conventional door locks and they cost less than conventional light bulbs to operate. Power supplies incorporating a trickle-charged lead-acid battery pack can be used to retain security for short-term power outages.

3-2 Magnetic Lock Bracket
The auxiliary fittings are needed for surface installation of inswing doors. We use high-quality rich-decorative import aluminum to make these fittings: Z&L bracket. There are three pieces of each set, the longer one L1 is assigned to the main frame of lock; the other two shorter ones are Z2 & Z3. Z2 is installed on the door, and assembled with Z3 as Z bracket. There is a center hole of Z3 to be assembled with armature plate.

4. Electric Strike
An electric strike is an access control device used for doors. It replaces the fixed strike faceplate often used with a latchbar (also known as a keeper). Like a fixed strike, it normally presents a ramped surface to the locking latch allowing the door to close and latch just like a fixed strike would. However, an electric strike's ramped surface can, upon command, pivot out of the way of the latch allowing the door to be pushed open (from the outside) without the latch being retracted (that is, without any operation of the knob) or while exited the knob or lever can be turned to allow egress from the secured area.
