  1- During installation, you can freely choose either Database Mode or File System Mode

Starting from SOYAL 701 Software Versions 10.X & 11.X, you can select either Database Mode or File System Mode for installation. The same user interface allows seamless upgrading without the need for relearning, and easily supports upgrading from File System to Database System.

• -File System: Simple to set up and easy to maintain, suitable for small to medium-sized systems.
• -Database System: Suitable for complex data exchanges, centralized systems, and medium to large-scale systems with higher security needs.

2- Support for 16-Zone Partition Mode (up to 4,064 controllers connected), with accelerated polling speed  

701ServerSQL and 701ClientSQL support a 16-area feature (Area00~Area15), allowing up to 254 controllers per area. In total, 16 areas can connect to 4,064 controllers and manage 4,906 I/O points per controller. Each area has an independent COM port and TCP/IP communication interface, enabling simultaneous connection and management of access control and I/O devices across 16 different areas, significantly enhancing communication speed.

Each area consists of separate COM settings, allowing independent COM selection per area. Therefore, each area can segregate communication, with serial ports individually connected to each controller.
Example: Hardware in Area00 uses AR-321-CM connected to COM 03 for controller communication, while Area01 uses COM 4 for connection.

SOYAL-LINK, serving as a cross-platform bridge, facilitates seamless integration of SOYAL hardware into third-party software systems. When SOYAL hardware is selected, all devices can be centrally managed through the SOYAL-LINK feature built into SOYAL 701ServerSQL software.

  4- Remote Controller Active Connection  

 For managing dozens of controllers, the traditional polling mode is often inefficient due to individual device polling. In such cases, the remote active connection mode allows controllers to actively send event logs to the software, speeding up real-time card swipe log retrieval from each controller.

 The 701ClientSQL software includes an intuitive dynamic graphics feature that displays device statuses in real-time on the monitoring screen. Administrators can view the current status of all devices or perform remote control directly from the software interface. It supports monitoring multiple device statuses, ideal for smart building or automated facility management systems.

  8-  Multi-Area Door Group/Door Number Settings 

Since the software 701ServerSQL and 701ClientSQL has been upgraded to version 10.X, new multi-area settings have been added. Therefore, settings such as door groups and door numbers may differ after upgrading from the old version. Please follow the three steps below:

STEP 1. Enable Multi-Area Mode (Area.Door)

STEP 2. Enable "Show Detailed Station Numbers"

STEP 3. Edit Door Number Settings
